Being advised by my GP to exercise more,and not having the confidence to go to a gym,I looked for a personal trainer on the internet and am so pleased i found Martyn. After discussing my expectations,Martyn put me on a diet and exercise plan and the results have been amazing.
After just 4 weeks i have lost 1 stone in weight,gained 2 inches on my chest and arms,and lost 2 inches around my waist.I have so much more confidence and energy in myself.

I really enjoy training with Martyn Sklayne. His extensive knowledge of how muscles work functionally has helped me improve my tennis game and strengthen my previously injured knees. His sessions are fun and challenging and I would highly recommend his training to anyone.
Martyn has also trained my daughter, who is delighted with the results achieved due to their sessions.

I've have trained with many so call personal trainers over the years. Most have only taken a short course before starting out, and therefore have little real knowledge of the subject of fitness, and seem to have no understanding of what is needed to be a true personal trainer. Martyn knows his stuff! Martyn is committed to help you achieve your goals no matter how long it takes.
I have trained with him for approx 3 years through hard and stressful times, and have even thought about giving up on occasion, but because he keeps it interesting, and has such a vast knowledge of nutrition and fitness, he has kept me on track.
At the age of 52 I am now much healthier, much stronger and much fitter than I have been at any other time in my life. I enjoy it so much now, I believe I have now started to become something of an addict!

Martyn has been my personal trainer for the since 2004. Martyn not only has a deep knowledge and understanding of sports and fitness training and nutrition, but also a great passion for the subject. My programs always seem to be well thought out and geared towards my training goals. Martyn is also extremely strong on ensuring that all exercises are done correctly and with good posture. This not only maximises the benefits of the exercise but also helps minimise risk of injury. Once you have been shown how to do exercises correctly, you can see that other personal trainers do not always follow this.
Martyn revises my training program every 6 to 8 weeks. Although I would like to have personal training every session, this would prove too costly for me so I see Martyn for 3 sessions at the start of each program and then continue the program on my own. But even with this approach my strength and general fitness have progressed far beyond what it would have had I not received Martyn's personal training.
So I would thoroughly recommend personal training with a quality personal trainer, and Martyn is certainly one of those.
